We are pleased to announce that Si-Arah McCray has been named the new SNAP-Ed Field Coordinator for Southern University Agricultural Research & Extension Center. Previously, McCray worked as a SNAP-ED Nutrition Educator providing a variety of nutrition based education to the East Baton Rouge & East Feliciana Parish. The services in which she provided include WIC clinics, public schools, food pantries, senior citizen living homes, and so many more. She is a 27 year native of Baton Rouge, LA. In 2016, McCray earned her bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in Family & Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Nutrition. Si-Arah will be receiving her Master of Healthcare Administration from University of Louisiana at Lafayette in May 2021.
