Garden implementation has begun at our newest SNAP – Ed Growing Healthy garden site – GEO Prep School. With Ms. Si-Arah McCray as our nutrition educator at this site and Coach Trammell as our main garden advocate, we are excited about utilizing this garden as a hands-on tool for Ms. McCray’s online nutrition education classes.
This garden will have one more build day and will be growing mustard greens, broccoli, turnips, carrots, cauliflower and beets before Thanksgiving break!
