    Welcome Tonya Stewart to the SNAP-Ed Nutrition Education Program!

    We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to the SNAP-Ed Nutrition Education Program team, Tonya Stewart!

    Tonya brings a wealth of experience and a strong passion for community-focused nutrition education. She previously served as a nutrition educator with the LSU AgCenter’s EFNEP program, where she played a pivotal role in promoting health and wellness initiatives.

    A proud alumna of Southern University, Tonya holds a bachelor’s degree in Business. Her unique blend of business acumen and hands-on experience in nutrition education makes her an incredible asset to our program.

    Tonya will be working with communities in St. James and Ascension Parishes, focusing on delivering impactful nutrition and wellness programming to enhance the health of local residents.

    Please join us in giving Tonya a warm welcome to the SNAP-Ed team! We are excited to see the positive impact she will make in her new role.
